Who We Are
A Rutgers chapter with more than 75 years of history
Joe Glaser founded the Beta Delta Chapter in 1948 and served as chapter advisor from the chapter’s founding era in the late 1940s until his death in the 1980s. Since then, generations of brothers have shaped the chapter through leadership, academics, philanthropy, campus involvement and lifelong alumni relationships.
Today’s chapter combines that history with a period of significant growth: record recruitment, national recognition, strong academic performance and a new home at 106 College Avenue.

About Zeta Beta Tau
A national fraternity founded in 1898
Zeta Beta Tau is a historically Jewish fraternity founded in New York City. Its motto, “Brotherhood for a Lifetime,” reflects a commitment to relationships and responsibility that continue beyond college.
The ZBT Credo emphasizes intellectual awareness, social responsibility, integrity and brotherly love. The fraternity’s six precepts are justice, service, charity, wisdom, truth and brotherhood.
