Serving a purpose greater than ourselves
Philanthropy
Beta Delta’s philanthropic work is strongest when fundraising is connected to real relationships and consistent service.

RU4Kids Foundation
Supporting Myles
Beta Delta is proud to support Myles through the RU4Kids Foundation. Myles lives with sickle cell disease, and the chapter’s relationship with him gives its philanthropy a personal meaning beyond fundraising totals.
Through events, visits and continued involvement, brothers have the opportunity to build a genuine connection with Myles and support the RU4Kids mission of helping children and families facing serious medical challenges.
ZBT Tahiti 2026
A Rutgers-wide philanthropy tradition
Tahiti brings fraternities, sororities and student organizations together through team events, banners, participation and fundraising.
The 2026 field included two Alpha Gamma Delta teams, two Zeta Tau Alpha teams, Phi Mu, Delta Gamma and Alpha Chi Omega.

Rutgers University Dance Marathon
A tradition that spans generations
Beta Delta brothers helped establish the first Rutgers University Dance Marathon in 1971. The chapter’s archive preserves a 1974 ZBT dance-marathon fundraising truck, and recent brothers have raised more than $10,000 for RUDM, continuing a tradition that spans generations.

Service
Highest chapter service hours among Rutgers fraternities in 2025
Service is most meaningful when it is consistent. Beta Delta’s result reflects brothers who contributed beyond a single event and made service part of the chapter calendar.
